Geocache Description:

A pretty little park not far off the highway. A place where many pass by totally unaware of what they have missed.

We originally hid a cache here for our 17th anniversary series. While doing routine maintenance on our caches, however, we found that the tree where the cache resided was no longer there. We decided to hide a new cache on our 20th anniversay which was New Year's Eve 2014.

This is a very well maintained park, please be respectful and don't trash it in any way. It should be noted that streams on this side of the island often harbor parasites such as leptospirosis. Therefore it is not advisable to go into or drink the water from this one or any other. there used to be a sign up warning against this but we did not see it this time. DON'T TAKE A CHANCE-DON'T GO IN THE WATER.

We have heard that this is a favorite spot for Menehunes to play. Never saw one ourselves, so if you see one, be sure and take a picture and share it!

The cache is not located in or around the pavillion or near the water.

There were bicycle muggles there when we placed the cache but no one paid any attention to us. It is usually pretty quiet there, with no none around, but of course use stealth if anyone has stopped off for a rest or the occasional party.
