Call me Kiln.

In 1997, the Antiquities and Monuments Office and Institute of Archaeology and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted an archaeological excavation in Tung Wan Tsai North, Ma Wan and yielded rich artefacts including burials, human s keletal, pottery sherds and archaeological features from six cultural phases, among which the earliest from Late Neolithic about 5000 years ago. This discovery was renowned as “Ten Most Important New Archaeological Discoveries in China in 1997”.
    
Most of the cultural relics found have been passed on to Antiquities and Monuments Office for safekeeping. Heritage Centre now possesses historical valuable Tang Dynasty Lime Kiln and Qing Dynasty Brick Kiln of Ma Wan, and Bust of Ma Wan Human Skulls from Late Neolithic.
