We enjoy living in Randolph County and its landscape. It occured to us that there should be a way to see the size and beauty of our county and so we have started placing caches at or near the boundary lines. As always, please be respectful of property and return the caches as found. Thanks.
Travelling along State Route #62, there are many roads that are interconnecting and also cross in and out of Randolph County. State Route #220 is also one of the main roads that intersect. Also know as 220 Business this was one of the main arteries that ran North and South thru North Carolina carrying commuters and truckers to their various destinations. Nowadays, Interstate #73 does most of the main load of travel as it is much faster. Because of the construction of "The By-Pass," many smaller roads were cut off and blocked. The particular road, Rockett Road is just inside the Randolph Boundary line and is one of the cut off roads. This should be as easy P&G and will also be the last of the Boundary Hunter Series.
