One of several cemeteries located in the Nolan/Divide area of Nolan County. It is a traditional type cemetery located in North central Texas.
Slater Cemetery is Located on the divide of Nolan County where several water sheds are located. The area is windy as you can tell with all of the area wind farms located here, generating electricity for the ERCOT electric supply for Texas only. Many area pioneering families have used this and several of the area cemeteries. This cemetery/historical cache has been placed by this cacher for others enjoyment of the area. It is one of several placed in the Nolan, Taylor, Fisher, Scurry and Mitchell counties. This is a nano cache which is different than all of my other caches. Bring a sharp pencil or pen and paperclip to sign and retrieve the log. Please be respectful of the area and close and latch all gates.
