Great rest stop just west of Hedland. Maybe good to stop here as not too many parking options in Hedland especially with Caravans on tow, except the area behind the chain burger shop in South Hedland where there is lots of parking.
Also take the time to walk up to the lookout on the bridge, can see lots of the mining and port infrastructure and how it mixes in with the Pilbara bush.
