Geocache Description:

Hut Circle and Standing Stone

This cache is a 450 ml cliplock container with logbook and pen with room for swaps and trackables.

This is a short diversion from the track leading to the Machrie burn stone circle which will take you to the location of three hut circles, one is still visible the second is overgrown and the third is separated by dense forest. The standing stone has quite a distinctive shape when viewed from the far side of the hut circle. Do you recognise it? On the side closest to the hut circle it looks like someone has use the stone for target practice! There is a sign marked path at the edge of the track to indicate the way. However I think this has been placed here as a request rather than a marker of the same!
