Swampy Minnow Palooza Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ZillaCloud: Came out with Geodog Luther today for a maint run and stopped by here. Looks like this one has gone missing again. After mulling it over I decided to put this one to bed.

It had a good 5 year run even so sad to see this one go as it was my 3rd ever hide. First off the original seedling container from “Micro Palooza” (GC1J6MW) was lost last summer and it just doesn't have the same spirit anymore without it.

Also when I placed this cache this was a neat little area surrounded by tall wild grasses with a small little secured access point. Over the years the path has widened considerably and the area has been stomped down a bit. Not intentionally of course, just a side-effect of the increased traffic here.

So going to pull this one and give the area back to Mother Nature to reclaim how it once was.

Thanks to all who visited! [:D]

Geocache Description:

The world still needs some simple P&Gs too, so that’s what this is. This is a seedling cache of “Micro Palooza” GC1J6MW.

You’re looking for a camoed film container hidden in Buckland Park in Brighton. General George Washington is waiting to personally congratulate the cacher who claims the FTF!

Congrats to Team Daisydog for the FTF!

Good luck and BYOP!

So when I asked my wife what to call this cache she said “Swampy Minnow”. This is because often when I return home from caching she remarks that I smell like a dead minnow and that I must have been walking around in swamp water, and she’s probably right wink.

I liked the name so I kept it, just adding “palooza” as homage to its parent cache. It also seems like the GZ may get somewhat damp in spring and fall so you might want to come prepared with proper footwear.

The park is open from 7am – 10pm please obey park hours. Also keep a sharp eye out for muggles, this area is muggle heaven during the warmer months and you may be seen.

Happy Cachingsmiley!

Update 8/31/2019: The original seedling container from Micro Palooza ended up breaking (the top came off) so I have replaced it and it's a bison tube now. Please leave it attached and just unscrew the bottom to access the log.
