Approximately 1.5 Mi South of Darrington, Washington sits this lesser known county park. While most commonly used by river rafters and fisherman, it's a really nice spot to just hang out also. This park just recently received a facelift, with the addition of some land clearing, gravel and a nice interpretive sign. A caution to those with little ones, the river is fairly swift and deep at the launch (a site of periodic boating mishaps), just use common sense please! You are looking for a smallish container that is hopefully out of reach of flooding. Enjoy!
