This cache has been placed as the latest in our Grinch series. You probably already know the story, so no sense to repeat it here.
No need to tell you that three years ago, on Christmas morning (2012), my wife and I were on our way to my mom’s house for our traditional Christmas morning get together. We had the presents and our part of the family breakfast loaded in the car and were most of the way to mom’s when I took a turn my wife did not expect and she asked “Where are we going?” and I responded with “There is a new cache over this way.” My wife was not surprised, we did make the FTF and we were not the last ones to get to the house.
I don't have to say that a while later I found out that the folks who missed the FTF they were trying for started calling me the Grinch, because we took their FTF present.
Nor should I tell you we don’t regret that FTF for a second, think the name is a lot of fun and will go after another Christmas morning FTF it given a chance; but to add to the joy of Christmas the Grinch has placed this Christmas cache for others to find. And the folks who missed the FTF that Christmas day were not even in town to get a shot at any of our Grinch series FTFs the following Christmas Day, the 2013 one.
And here we are again. Placing a Grinch geocache to bring a little Christmas geocaching joy.
