Fantastic views at the end of a good hike

A lovely peak that rises above the peninsula east of Noumea, Mont Dore is one of the most popular hikes in the area. The summit is just short of 800 meters, and there are two different locations you can choose to begin your hike. I chose the south access - the hike is short (~3.5) but much steeper; the alternate is about 6 km long, much of it on old logging roads, and a much gentler ascent. Many people walk form one access to the other, a hike that's about 9 km in length, with a brief aside to reach the summit.
The cache is placed to the north of the buildings at the summit. The spoiler picture should help to find the cache.
Une belle crête qui domine la péninsule à l'est de Nouméa, Mont-Dore est une des randonnées les plus populaires dans la région. Le sommet est un peu moins de 800 mètres, et il y a deux endroits différents, vous pouvez choisir de commencer votre randonnée.
