So ... in honor of the grand 'ole Man in the Moon I have begun a series of caches that I will call The Many Moons. A new Full Moon cache will be hidden each month near the time of a full moon. Each cache will bear the Native American name of the full moon for the month that the cache is hidden.
The 7th hide of the Many Moons series is January ... The Wolf Moon. This full moon appears when wolves howl in hunger outside the villages of Native Americans. Wolves are very vocal at this time of the year as they communicate with each other on frigid winter nights. You're looking for The Man in the Moon ... a small cache with room for a log only. There's ample parking nearby. Bring a scribble stick.
