Geocache Description:

While on a FTF hunt for New Year's Yurt with the family (as you can see we came in second) we decided to place one of our own on the way out. These are some of our favorite trails offering spectacular views all year long.

The cache is just off the scenic Albert Loop trail accessed from the Eagle River Nature Center.  You can either hike the whole three mile loop or access the cache from the south section of the loop about one mile in.  The trail suffers from seasonal closures in the summer so visit the Nature Center website or the physical cabin to see trail conditions. Be bear aware, check out the sign posts for their claw marks and hair they've left behind. The cache is mostly winter friendly, depending on the winter.  No cell service starting a few miles from the end of the road, except marginally along the open river sections.
