Glen afton is an old coal mining village, a nice drive in the country. the blue rooms in the village were a crown lyn pottery and are now the local social club. (Open Thursday to Sunday 4pm till late)
Nice drive, good place to wonder around. If coming from huntly you pass the rotowaro open cast coal mine.
