Geocache Description:

Remember when you used to eat alphabet soup and tried to find all of the letters of the alphabet? Have you found 26 caches beginning with the letters A-Z?

This cache is located at the posted coordinates, but there are additional requirements that must be fulfilled before you can claim the find.

Requirement #1
Successfully find and log a cache (no events) that begins with each of the 26 alphabet characters, i.e., A-Z. Previous finds count, and there are no restrictions on in which state you found the cache (I cache too much in both WI and MN to be biased!). Only the first character of the cache name is used, as follows:

River => R
The Willow => T
!!BOOM!! => ! (Not a valid cache)
"AHA" => " (Not a valid cache)

Note that you may NOT use caches you own (even if you found them some time ago and have since adopted them) in order to count towards the requirements of this cache. Since cache names can sometimes change, be sure that the names still fit the requirement you are trying to fulfill as of the date you log your find.

Requirement #2
Each qualifying cache must be owned by a unique player. For example, if you use "Bravo" from my NATO series, you may not also use "Charlie".

Requirement #3
To document your successful completion of the challenge, you will need to create a list of the 26 caches found in one of the following ways:

1) Include the list in your log entry using the following format:

A - Cache Name - GC_____ - cache owner - Date Found
B - Cache Name - GC_____ - cache owner - Date Found

2) Create a public bookmark called "Alphabet Soup: Willow River State Park": - Include this cache in your bookmark; but, since you haven’t found it yet, it doesn’t count – you will need another “A” cache. Keep this bookmark public for a minimum of 3 months after completing the Challenge. Include one cache you have found for each letter of the alphabet . In the cache comments, include the date you found the cache.

3) Attach a screenshot from GSAK, or any other tool you use to tabulate your caches.

The cache is located in Willow River State Park, and can be found during regular park hours. Daily or yearly park sticker required (daily available at parking area). Park hours are 6am-11pm. During cross-country ski season, please keep off the groomed trails. Also, there is hunting allowed in some parts of the park during the 9-day deer season at the end of November and a few days in the spring during turkey hunting. Just be aware of your surroundings. **************************************************************************************** Willow River State Park has many great attractions and trails including: the large waterfall at Willow Falls, Little Falls Dam and Lake, boat launch and beach, wonderful canoeing/kayaking waterways, fishing, family camping and group camping, cross-country skiing and ice fishing...not to mention all the wildlife. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Aaron L. Mason, Assistant Park Superintendent at Willow River State Park. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at the Wisconsin DNR website.
