Geocache Description:

Near the entrance to the southern end of the Blisworth Tunnel.

This cache is located just of a footpath and is suitable for families and children, obviously care should be taken as you are next to the canal.

Blisworth Tunnel is a canal tunnel on the Grand Union Canal in Northamptonshire, England between the villages of Stoke Bruerne at the southern end and Blisworth at the northern end. There was some major rebuilding of the tunnel in the 1980s, with sections lined with pre-cast concrete rings. It was also used to test out the materials that were later used on the Channel Tunnel. One of the unused rings is on display just outside the south portal.

Bring a pen as this cache is not large enough for a pen, swaps or TB's.

When you have found the cache why not search for more caches in the area or enjoy a refreshing beverage in one of the local pubs in Stoke Bruerne!!
