Well, do we have one for you. I stumbled on this cache on Trademe and we've been itching to get it out there.
I thought this one would be a part of the Tinker Trail. So the name on the log book reflects this. We brain stormed...
- "Swing on over"
- "Major Pain" (a few thorns about)
- "Swing a wolf"
- "Unswung Hero"
- some unmentionable titles
- "Camo nano"
You are looking for a large ammo can and it has four latches on the box, please make sure that they are all secured. Just seat the lid and you don't need to force anything. The rock a the bottom is not a swap. Please keep it there as we don't know how high the river gets.
The best access is from the river bed. Go directly under the bridge and head for the left concrete pile. It's big so that should surfice. Hopefully the blackberries won't be too big.
WOLFF, Johannes Rudolf (d. 16th September, 1920). Wolff’s Road, located midway between Oxford and Cust, is named after this family. Horrelville Johannes Rudolph (Hans) Wolff from the Hartz Mountains in Germany. For years he leased part of Run no. 78. Descendants later purchased this property, which was south of the Eyre River. His family built a foot swing bridge across the river, west of the road ford.
