Geocache Description:

One of a series of ten church micros placed in Chesham. Due to proximity issues some are placed as a group. This one is linked to Emmanuel and Newtown Evangelical Baptist .
**PLEASE NOTE CHURCH COORDINATES IN LOG BELOW . THIS CACHE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE FROM THE ROAD. YOU NEED TO FIND AN ENTRANCE TO THE FOOTPATH!**

The re-ordered church was consecrated on the 11th October 1997. Prior to this the parish had a varied history from 1697 meeting in private houses including a house in Khartoum Avenue (now Eskdale Avenue) and the British Legion (1947) until land for the present building was bought in 1956. The new church opened in 1960.
