Swinging Mexican Traditional Cache

The real treasure is this spot. The Geocache was placed above the high water mark to prevent it being washed away in winter. You can access the cache from the water by canoe or walk down from the road. If you approach from the river you will immediately see the beautity of this spot. If you walk down to the cache, walk a bit further down to the river for a spectacular spot for fun times.

We were camping at a nearby farm for New Year, the theme was Mexican, the contents of the cache reflect each member of the Mexican Party, hence the Cache's name; "Swinging Mexican". This is a stunning spot for swimming, playing, picnicking or chilling under the tall trees out of the beating sun in summer. Whether you are staying up or down stream you can access it by canoe, or a short walk from the road will bring you to this beautiful spot to cool off after a long day in the car.

The farmer is aware of the cache, but some of the camps in the area use this spot for their own fun; so please watch out for any muggles and be friendly to everyone you meet.
