The main cemetery here dates to the late 1800s, when the Chitty famly began burial. In time, the Mathew family bacame the prominent owners of this family cemetery....inside the fence. Meanwhile, 2 other families buried their family members outside the fence in 2 seperate, small lots, the Bronson and Hall families. These cemeteries are no longer in use.
