Anyone who wishes to skate, must provide their own skates, as there is no skate rentals on site. Those who choose not to skate are still welcome to join us for some good wholesome geo-chat inside the Warm Discovery Landing (if space allows) or outside at the pond. Parking is free at Spencer Smith Park, after 6:00 pm.
The Rotary Centennial Pond, a 10,000 square-foot year-round water feature. In the spring, summer and fall it is a reflective pool ideal for model sail boating and in winter it offers free recreational ice-skating on an artificial ice surface.
This event will take place (Wendensday Evening) from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, bring the kids and enjoy a skate at this beautiful outdoor rink by the lake. If you wish to come prior to the event, or stay late you may, as the pond is open daily from 10am-10pm.
