Another small school site from years gone by.The Eleura school was opened in 1937 and had a peak enrolment of 14 in 1944.
Like many others in the district it had a fairly short life and closed in 1945.The current site has a large rock with a plaque telling you that the schoolhouse was approximately 163m from the rock which would have put it in the paddock above the small creek where i,m sure the kids would have played at every opportunity.
The cache is a camouflaged pvc container which has room for small swaps and tradables
It,s initial inventory is log book.pencil, sharpener and trackable whistle.
