This part of the trail takes you past the private airstrip on your left and on towards Alkham's very own vineyard.
The vineyard has been established for a few years now but this Autumn saw the arrival of bottles of the wine for purchase from the Marquis in the village. The grapes grown here are taken to be blended at the award winning Chapel Down vineyard near Tenterden.
There are often people in the vineyard so be wary of Muggles. This time you are looking for a tube with screw top which can be accessed from roadside.
