NCGO's Central Region Third Annual Winter Event!
Let's celebrate the end of winter with a picnic at the Clemmons Educational State Forest! We have the large shelter rented from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on March 21st. Lunch should be ready at noon.
The NCGO has decided to have at least one event in each season of the year. The central region's season is winter. Brrrr... But hey! No snakes, no mosquitoes, no poisonous plants. Maybe a bit of snow?
Come one, come all, from near and far. Hosted by the NCGO Central Region but everyone is welcome!
Whether you are new to geocaching, an old timer, or maybe, just plain curious about the adventures of caching, then this event is for you. It's a great opportunity to see what geocaching is all about, tell a few tales, or get a tip or two about that one hide that seems to elude you.
Please come and join us for a "Dog Days" hot dog lunch at Clemmons Educational State Forest off US70. This will be a pot luck event, so please bring beverages, side dishes, or desserts. There will be plenty of hot dogs and fix'ins. Please post in your Will Attend log what you are contributing to our luncheon and how many are in your group so we can estimate the amount of dogs we needs to burn, I mean cook.
