LetterBoxing is like Geocaching only without a GPS. You give clues or directions to locate the cache container instead of coordinates. True LetterBoxers carry a signature stamp with them and stamp the cache log with their stamp. They also carry a log book with them and use the stamp inside that cache on their log book, sort of like a record keeping system.Â
LetterBox (Hybrid) is a concept devised by Groundspeak to interest LetterBoxers into Geocaching and allow Geocachers the opportunity to locate Letterboxes.

Welcome to the Village of Wilmont, Ohio== Setting at the red light that crosses RT#62 and #250 go West out of town about a mile on #250. You will go up a hill and pass the Green Lawn Cemetery on your left. After crossing a small bridge over a creek, turn right immediately on Alabama Ave. Drive another 1/2 mile on a quiet country road to entrance on the left. Drive into the Parking area. Walk up the steps to the Interpretive Building. When you reach the top step, standing at the main door, the LetterBox is to the right under a bush! Happy Hunting!!
The Interpretive Building was constructed in 1974. Inside you will find a Nature Store, an Interactive Display Room, a Wildlife Observation Room and Meeting Rooms.
The Hours are:--9-5 Tuesday through Saturday--1-5 Sundays--Closed Mondays
