Long ago, a man named Herman Bothra once lived here. He practiced saucery, and he made his magic wand from a branch of this tree. First the cats in the area started disappearing. Then the dogs. And then the children. A group of villagers went to Herman's cottage and demanded to know what he knew about the childrens' disappearances. Herman stood silently in the doorway. The villagers began getting angrier. One of the villagers reached out to grab Herman's shirt, but his hand passed right through him and Herman vanished. He was never seen again. The villagers searched his house for clues about the missing children. There was no furniture, no food, no clothes. The house was empty and vacant. Bewildered, the villagers exited the house and turned back to look at it when it suddenly began to shift around and shrank down to the size of a bird house. Everyone ran away in fear, except one brave soul who decided to hang this birdhouse in the same tree where Herman made his magic wand from.
