Geocache Description:

This is a safe area to be but children and dogs should be on a leash. Should be a quick find but you may want to wait for the break in the traffic for stealth, or try and hide...

This is a typical crazy Northamptonshire semi traffic controlled roundabout junction, except I reckon this one has many more near misses* than most.

*well, not really if you follow non-errors but you know what I mean.

Only some of the junction is traffic light controlled, leaving the other roads to take their chances in a break in traffic. That sort of works except under heavy load when it leads to cars jumping the controlled lights in the long(er) red period intended for the uncontrolled traffic and jamming the whole thing up.

The main problem is the left two of the 'roundabout' lanes go on to the motorway north, while the left two lanes from the A508 coming north enter and stay on the roundabout (as pictured). So cars in the right lane on the roundabout shooting off onto the motorway come into conflict with traffic on the A508 joining to go round the roundabout. Crazy. I saw two drivers drivers nearly come to fisticuffs nearby while placing the cache.

Don't be a twit. This is cache is not on the motorway. Do not stop on the motorway. Do not pass go. Do not collect £200. This is not a cache and dash. Parking coordinates are provided. Use them. Or go by bike. Or on foot. Or by tricyle. Do not stop on the motorway, dipstick.

The cache is a bison pill tube hanging behind the chevron bend signs. This is readily accessible from the footpath behind the crash barrier. There is no need to go anywhere dangerous. The cache should be accessible from a wheelchair with a tiny bit of reach. There's no risk of dropping it as its tied on with nylon. Use stealth. Don't distract drivers while searching for the cache.
