Blink! Probably one of the scariest episodes of Doctor Who in recent memory. So scary in fact, that our youngest daughter still refuses to go to this area due to the weeping angels and plump cherubs that surround you. So are you brave enough?
Bindon Manor is a 1,800 acre estate that was purchased and restored in 1962. The Manor House is a Grade II listed building and as you will see, still has weeping angels and cherubs guarding the main entrance.
The cache is not at the listed co-ordinates, but is within around 400 metres. To find the cache, you must go to the listed co-ordinates and find the answer to 4 questions about the statues as follows:
A) At the listed co-ordinates, there's a sign with the name and other details about the property. How many letters are in the second name of the property?
B) Look South - How many of the large standing statues are wearing long skirts (below the knee)?
C) At the same site, how many combined feet are touching the ground on the two statues?
D) Go North across the road - How many letters are in the second + third words on this sign?
The co-ordinates for the final cache are then as follows:
N 50 42.8BA W 003 02.3CD
At no stage should you have to go onto the grounds of Bindon Manor to search for the cache or to solve the clues as you should be able to find the answers while standing on the public road. The final cache is not placed on the grounds of the Bindon Manor Estate. You may need tweezers to extract the logbook. It is not recommended that you look for this cache at night as it's hard to find the answers to the clues and that's when the angels really come to life!
