Kamrar Community Church Cemetery Traditional Cache

Cache is located adjacent to a church cemetery but you can reach the cache without going onto cemetery grounds. There is a paved parking lot about 250' E of ground zero across level ground which should make for easy access to this cache most times of the year. I would not recommend attempting this cache at night or on Sunday mornings. Should be winter-friendly but you may need your boots to get to GZ after a big snowfall.

Kamrar Community Church Cemetery is located in the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 36 in Independence Township, Hamilton County, Iowa. The cemetery is relatively new and is small but well-maintained.

The Kamrar Community Church was formed in October 1980, when members of the Presbyterian Church (in Liberty Township) separated over church doctrine issues.  After several years of meeting in local Kamrar businesses, the Community Church of Kamrar was built in 1986 in its current location.  The first service in the new church was Easter Sunday 1986.

The Community Church of Kamrar is located on Hwy D-41 southeast of Kamrar, Iowa in Independence Township.  The cemetery was established in 1989 and is located west of the church parking lot.
