Loraine is a small West Texas community with a school, bank and cemetery as the major enteties in town. It is one of many small towns located along the old Texas and Pacific Railroad. This is a old typical community cemetery located on the southwest side of town. I chose this cemetery because I recently found my greatgrand parents had been buried here.
This is a typical cemetery found in Texas and has been here for over 100 years. It is not well taken care of , but historically hold a lot of pioneering families from the area. This is another cemetery/historical cache located in Mitchell, Nolan ,Scurry, Fisher and Taylor counties place by this cacher. The container is considered a micro cache with a log only. Please bring a pen/pencil and a paper clip to sign and retrieve log. Please be respectful of the departed ones as you enter and leave the area
