2y'stassies: The location for this hide has been compromised by the construction work for the extension of the coastal cycle path. As we have not idea how long it will take to complete the project and we will be away for a significant block of time in the near future, we have decided to archive this cache. We will look at putting at least one new cache in the area once the construction work has been completed. Thanks to all who found "Resurrection of 'Cows With Guns'".

Geocache Description:

The cache "Cows With Guns" once resided in this area. It was very popular but, overtime, fell into disrepair and was not maintained. Now that the original has been archived, "Cows With Guns" is being resurrected.

There is an underpass under the Bass Highway providing access for pedestrians between the eastern and western sides. Students are the main users of the underpass at about 8am and 4pm on school days. There are only very occasional users at other times. The cache is located on the eastern side.

Do not park on the highway to access this cache. There is parking at the end of Alexander Street where there is safe access to the cache.
