Dedicata al comandante che sconfisse nel 1830 la flotta genovese nella guerra di Chiogia, fu realizzata nel 1912 e in servizio durante la prima guerra mondiale. Era armata con 6 obici da 280/L disposte lungo l'asse principale in "barbetta" e chiuse alle estremità da due torri telemetriche di avvistamento.
