Tuiflstuan

An der Fahrstraße von Partschins nach Vertigen steht an einer Wegkreuzung das Fasser Kreuz. Diesem gegenüber liegt, dicht am Rande der Rechtskurve ein großer, markanter Felsbruck von ca. 30m³. Dieser besteht aus Biotitgranitgneis, auch Tschigotgranit genannt. In diesem Gestein sind bis zu 6cm große Feldspatkristalle eingelagert. Die Streifen bestehen aus grau bis schwarz gefärbten Glimmer, dem Biotit.
Eine Sage erzählt, dass vor langer Zeit der Teufel diese auffälligen Spuren in den Stein gebrannt hat. Besonders fällt eine Einbuchtung auf, die sich wie ein unförmiger Gesäßabdruck ausnimmt. Sie soll dem Höllischen einst als Sitzplatz gedient haben. Da sich hier zwei Wege kreuzen und der Stein zudem einen günstigen Ausblick bot, hatte sich der Teufel diesen Platz ausgesucht, um nach möglichen Opfern Ausschau zu halten. Der Felsblock trägt daher den Namen Tuiflstuan (Teufelsstein).
Der Höllenfürst hatte es besonders auf Feiertagsschänder abgesehen. Der Kouhler Hannes, ein berüchtigter Wilderer, ging einst in der Nacht von Allerheiligen auf Allerseelen auf die Pirsch. Dem Hannes schien das Jagdglück hold gewesen zu sein, denn am Allerseelentag in der Früh entdeckten die Kirchgänger von Vertigen neben dem Tuifelstuan den Rucksack mit einem erlegten Rehbock und dem Gewehr des Wilddiebs. Von ihm selbst fehlte allerdings jede Spur; nur seine Kleider, Schuhe und der Hut lagen weit verstreut umher.

Al viale di dopo Parcines direzione Vertigen a un incrocio trovate un bivio, chiamato bivio Fasser. Sull`altro lato della strada, nella curva a destra si trova un grande, roccia caratteristica di circa 30 mc. Si tratta di materiale granito Biotit, chiamato anche granito Tschigot. In queste rocce sono intercalate fino a 6 centimetri di grandi cristalli di feldspato. Le strisce sono di colore grigio e nero, materiale biotite.
Una leggenda narra che molto tempo fa il diavolo ha bruciato queste tracce nella pietra. Un rientro particolarmente evidente che sembra essere la forma di un sedere. Si dice che una volta ha servito come sede per il diavolo. Come punto di intersezione di due strade offrivano una posizione ideale e una bellissima vista al diavolo. Lo aveva scelto cercare potenziali vittime. Il masso porta quindi il nome Tuiflstuan (Sasso del diavolo).
Il diavolo si rivolgeva sopratutto a personaggi che faccevano cativerie durante giorni festivi. Il così chiamato Kouhler Hannes, un bracconiere noto che una volta è andato nella notte tra Ognissanti e il giorno dei morti in cerca di preda. Sembrava che il Hannes aveva tanta fortuna, perché la mattina dopo la gente che andave in chiesta vicino al Sasso del diavolo ha scoperto lo zaino con un capriolo cacciato vicino e pure il fucile. Di Hannes a sè però, non c'era traccia; solo i suoi vestiti, scarpe e cappello erano sparsi intorno.

At the driveway after Partschins, direction Vertigen there you`ll find at a crossroad the Fasser cross. Opposed to the edge of the right-hander, a large, distinctive rock with about 30 m³ is settled. This consists of Biotitgranite, also called Tschigotgranite. In these rocks are intercalated up to 6cm large feldspar crystals. The strips are made from gray to black colored mica, the biotite.
Legend has saidthat long time ago the devil has blown this conspicuous traces in the stone. An indentation particularly is noticeable which excludes like a shapeless buttocks impression. The legend sais that this indentation once served as the Infernal seat. This point was very welcome to the Devil because it was a intersection point of two paths and the stone also offered for a favorable outlook. The devil had chosen this place to look for potential victims. The boulder therefore bears the name Tuiflstuan (Devil's Stone).
The Prince of Darkness had particularly targeted at Violators of the Holidays. The so called Kouhler Hannes, a notorious poacher once went on the night of All Saints on All Souls' Day on the prowl. The Hannes seemed to have been hold hunting luck, because in the morning after churchgoers of Vertigen discovered at the Devils Stone the backpack with a hunted roebuck and the gun. But there was no trace of Hannes himself; only his clothes, shoes and hat were scattered around.
