Geocache Description:

You will be searching in a wooded Ravine that is near a paved horseshoe trail. There was a cache here some time ago but it has been archived. Be Careful of thorns and the hill can be a bit slippery at times. 

 


This Ravine which leads to Oakland Lake was formed in the ice age by glaciers moving through NY. It is a nice hike from the lake but you cannot access it from there right now. The lake and park is undergoing a naturalization and renovation project. You will have to access from Springfield and
