The Nordic Snowshoe Series is a series of geocaches designed to be winter-friendly and snowshoe accessible. The Nordic Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe trails are a great place to get outdoors and get some exercise during the cold weather. The cost for using the snowshoe trails is $5, and can be placed in the box at the trailhead. This fee is only applicable during the winter season; there is no cost the rest of the year. Please remember to stay off the cross country ski trails if you are snowshoeing. The ski trails are nearby, but these caches can only be accessed from the snowshoe trails. Bring warm clothes, water, snacks, and a lunch if you wish, as there is a heated cabin halfway along the trails as well as one at the trailhead. There are almost 70km of snowshoe trails here for you to enjoy. Please note that although it is possible to get these caches at other times of the year, they are specifically designed to be picked up during the winter. Snowshoe and cache safely!
