There  is a caravan park across the road so you could call in for refreshments, an ice cream or a cuppa or park the van there !

There are several other caches in this area in which you can find also !

Lake Narracan was once called Yallourn storage dam and was built by the old state Electricity commission of Victoria  to supply water to the Yallourn power station and "W" power station to supply water to the boilers and cooling towers for the production of Electricity for the state of Victoria .

The dam was built from 1959 to 1961 and holds approximately 8600 mega litres . The lake is also used for other water sports such as skiing, swimming, fishing kayaking .

I hope you enjoy you visit to lake Narracan.
