Geocache Description:

Embark on a 5k walk (3.1 mile) on the Bike Trail alongside Spaulding road in Cascade.

While out walking the trail, you will learn about the 14 schools in the Big Ten Conference, and what their nicknames are. Is it a name that strikes fear in the heart of opponents? Does it inspire great athletic feats? Is it just ridiculous, leaving you wondering where the name even came from. Embark on the geoWALK to get a bit of history on the name origins, and some extremely biased opinions on how good a name is, leaving you to judge for yourself

This wherigo was released as part of the Winter 2015 geoWalk event, but can be run outside of that. The purpose of the geoWalk events are for exercise and socialization, and the purpose of the linked wherigos is to provide a variety of 5k 'walking trails', and timings on the trip. There is no penalty for your walk time, do it at your own pace.
