Geocache Description:

Between the 14th and 17th February, spooky_luke and CornishCandy will be on holiday on Jersey from our home in Cornwall.

During our stay, we hope to visit lots of great caches and to meet some of the cachers who have kindly placed them.

If you are free on Monday 16th February between 18:30 and 20:00, we’d love to meet you for a geonatter at The Royal in St Martin.

Food is available between 18:00 and 20:30 so if you wish, you could eat at the event.

All are welcome to attend. We will try to bring along some trackables for people to move on/discover and will gladly help to move any trackables onwards that wish to visit the Mainland.

We really look forward to meeting you all. We will try to wear something related to Geocaching to distinguish ourselves!

In case you were wondering, Emmet is a nickname that some Cornish people use to refer to non-Cornish people. It originally referred to tourists visiting Cornwall but has also been used by native Cornish Folk to refer to "incomers" or residents who have moved into the county rather than being born there. Some argue that an incomer loses the emmet status if resident for more than 25 years. Others state that only native born Cornish people are non-emmets! We wonder if there is an equivalent on Jersey?
