Officer Anthony J. Holly
This memorial was set up to honor our cousin Tony Holly who was killed in the line of duty, with the last call in 2007.
Tony was born in 1982, and though his life was much too short, he impacted many others in such a positive way. He was a happy, bright child with a never-ending smile and big blue eyes. He carried that smile into adulthood, and made it his personal goal to make others happy, and to give of himself.
Tony served our country, his community, God and his family unfailingly. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and was a member of the Air Force Honor Guard. After completing his military service, he became a Glendale Police Officer, where he also served on the Honor Guard. He was shot and killed in the line of duty on February 19, 2007 while coming to the support of a fellow officer. He was 24 years old.
