This winter like most has brought some horrendous weather to the shore of Helensburgh, and with it there is alot of rubbish, both natural and man made being swept onto the shoreline.
We can make a difference, Helensburgh needs you to come and don some gloves and help clear what is an eye saw and detracts from some lovely views, walks and even caches!
Argyle and Bute council are kindly donating gloves, bags and will be putting a large skip for all the waste to be put in next to the meet point (Helensburgh Swimming Pool). I want to take this chance to mention and thank Helensburgh Swimming Pool who are kindly allowing us to use the cafe area as a shelter area, and to have tea and coffee through out the day.
So please come and join fellow Geocachers and help us clear away the winter debris, between 1200 and 1530 to clear as much as we can along this icon stretch of sea front. Warm and waterproof clothing is reccomended.
