Geocache Description:

the pipeline you are following provides irrigation water for the land between arrowtown and queenstown.the water comes from the arrow river,which still contains gold,bring your goldpan along and see if you get lucky!

this is our first cache, the hiding spot was chosen by my young son during a day out goldpanning.access is by either walking or 4wd, 2 river crossings are required either way,be careful after significant rain if the river is high. the cache is a 1/2 litre plastic container hidden somewhere below where the pipeline makes its second river crossing.enjoy
