A memorial garden and seating area is dedicated to long-time Wainui resident and cycleway advocate Muriel Jones.
The cache is an Eclipse container situated near to the seating area along the cycleway.
A lot of vehicles travel along this road so be very careful watch your children Please return the container you find to exactly where you find it and be careful who might be watching as this can be a high muggle area.
This was a New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) project that was jointly managed with Council. The cycleway will make the state highway safer for cyclists and pedestrians while building on our focus of creating a network of cycle and walkways within Gisborne city.
