BIRCH RUN:
Birch Run Preserve is a northern Chester County woodland bordered by and EPA Superfund sight to the north and Hibernia park lands to the west and east, along with private properties. There are picnic tables next to the parking area to sit and have a snack after your adventure. When Barkley was a puppy, this was his puppy hike in January of 2013. He found his first shed here in the portion of Hibernia park that boarders west.
When he finds a shed I reward him by playing fetch with the shed!
There is a trail map in the Cartridge and will be given to the player at the "start Zone" It contains a help button with a complete walk through for the younger player along with a button to obtain your completion code. This trail was made by an Eagle Scout! Please take time to see his plaque at the start of the trail. The trail is very short and child friendly!
This cartridge is designed for children ages 8-12. The map included in the cartridge will be added to your inventory, and it has the places you need to visit marked with an "X" to help you complete the game and find the cache. Barkley loves Children, so it is appropriate that this is designed for them! However if your an adult it will be more challenging without the map.
