At this crossroad there were two establishments.Built in the 1800's.Nothing is left of them now but pages left in history.
In the meadow below a distillery run by S.S. Brumbaugh operated. Rye whiskey was produced and sold here.
Above the crossroad was the Mountain House Hotel. Park along road in grassy area by pine trees.
