Geocache Description:

Secret Spots of monkeydogfish and chloboo. This is a serene and stony spot.

monkeydogfish:

This is one of the secret spots we discovered while exploring our new neighborhood. It is a letterbox hybrid cache, so the container is not at the listed coordinates. The posted coordinates are for starting the hunt. Follow the directions from chloboo to get to the cache.

With all the waterfront mansions taking up most of the prime spots, it's always nice to find publicly accessible routes to the beach.

As a letterbox hybrid cache, there is a stamp in the container. This is for stamping your own book or paper; you can stamp the cache logbook with your own stamp if you have one. If you don't have a stamp, maybe leave a little sketch or doodle? Please do not remove the stamp or ink pad from the cache.

chloboo:

  • Start out at the posted coordinates and walk south past the metal structure.
  • You can go left or right around the standing up logs.
  • Go up the wood stairs and down the concrete stairs.
  • Take a look at the rocks here.
  • Back up the concrete and down the wood.
  • Find the best spot to watch downtown and sit down and think, "chloboo is awesome!".
  • If you look to your right and behind, you should see some similar rocks. The cache is under one that is a little different.
