Watering Jetty Traditional Geocache

A micro cache on the Stanley water front. Easy access  for all, but be a little carefull with small children around the sea wall.

To the South of the cache is a small recreational garden on the site of the old stone lined reservoir where fresh water was piped from the stream

in Magazine Valley passing under the road to a watering jetty from where ships could replenish there fresh water tanks.

One moring BOLLARD is still visible in the grass on the sea wall.

Selling water to ships was a lucrative income for the Government.
