Damien discovered a quirky narrative in the library one day. Outlandish events occurred in the story, which was set in a faraway land many centuries ago. Most people haven't read this story. In the excerpt below, you can find out a bit about it. Not that you get much to work with unfortunately. It all started in a medium-sized town. One not unlike yours and mine, perhaps. Nobody knew how events would take an interesting turn...

In the great hall, a jester, born in a hovel, entertained a swindler. In that province, the chapel was empty and the poor house was full. On the outskirts, an overgrown estate rotted away. A militia had stolen all the platinum, not realising that it was subject to a curse. Fortunately for the people of that province, rising out of the necropolis came a peddler who became a prince.
