Geocache Description:

Looming became a craze amongst children around 2014. It is a craft which involves weaving rubber bands together on a board with pegs to make bracelets, necklaces etc. This cache was placed at the peak of loom band's popularity, which has since decreased. It pays homage to this trend, with room for plenty of loom-related swaps, trackables and other swaps so be sure to bring some if you have any!

It is a small screw top vitamin container.

Please be sure to replace the cache and camo exactly as you found it and beware of muggles as this is sometimes very busy with soccer practice or games being played. Thank you!

Jack Thomas Reserve was named after one of the City of Berwick’s first councillors from 1973 – 1981. He was Mayor of the City of Berwick in 1974 – 1977.  It is the current home of the Berwick City Soccer Club and Edwards Corner.

There is a sign at the front of the Reserve, near the vehicle entrance that says "Edwards Corner".  It was named Edwards Corner in honour of Thomas and Annie Edwards. The area was officially named the corner where the family’s dairy farm once was with 35 descendants of Thomas and Annie who came to the soldier settlement dairy farm in 1935.

Thomas Edwards served in both the first and second world wars, and is also listed with Annie on the Soldier Settlement Memorial Garden plaque at Narre Warren North. Thomas and Annie had 8 children.  The Soldier Settler Memorial Garden is a short walk away.

There is a nice wooden children's playground in the Reserve and plenty of open space to kick a ball, throw a frisbee, fly a kite .....
