What is Confederation Day anyway?

The British North America Act in 1867, created Confederated Canada.  Three British colonies became 4 provinces: Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia which was celebrated on July 1, 1867.  From 1867 to 1879, July 1, was know as Confederation Day.  On May 15, 1879, Confederation Day became formalized and was designated as Dominion Day.  One hundred and three years later, on October 27, 1982, the name was officially changed to Canada Day.

That’s enough History.

Here’s what you have to do:

At the Posted Coordinates you will locate a Plaque on a stone cairn.  Find the difference between the two years on the plaque, (divide by 1000) and add to the following meaningless coordinates.

N 43 19.544  W 079 47.514

Good Luck and Happy Caching!
