This is a very simple go to cache to help get you motivated to carry on and find the other caches up on the Malahat Ridge. We placed it while walking back from finding some caches at the terrific viewpoints overlooking the peninsula. The walk itself is not something to get excited about but the effort is worth it to be so high up with views towards the gulf islands and the mainland. We placed our cache in a very obvious location towards the rear. You shouldn't need a hint for this one.
The cache is a large micro and although it's camoflauged, it will stand out if you're looking. Both ends come off but the top is the right way. Always carry a pen or pencil!
Bring a bag and collect some cans as you walk. We found at least 70 on our trip!
