Geocache Description:

This is Cache Number 9, in the growing Burlington Public Art Series.  The art piece at this site is called, “Pollinizers”.  The container is a magnetic key holder.  The cache is not actually a public piece, it's owned by the Royal Botanical Gardens, and is on their land.  However, the cache is not, and is accessible from the sidewalk alongside Plains Road.

Pollinizers

Artist: Dave Hind
From: Brantford, Ontario, Canada Date: 2014

Dave Hind is an artist, musician and metalworker of functional objects. He was born in Hamilton and now lives in Brantford Ontario. His artistic practice is grounded in the reclamation of materials. The interaction of the industrial and natural recur in the materials, processes, and images that he uses and explores.
